With a distinguished career spanning over five decades in the electrical contracting industry, Vincent (Vince) J. DiFiore has been a transformative force in elevating his family business into one of the leading electrical contractors in Chicago.

As President of Candor Electric, Inc., Vince drives business development and strategic initiatives, guiding the company to new heights of success. His visionary leadership has been crucial in shaping the company’s growth and securing its position in a competitive market. Vince's career began early, with his introduction to the electrical field starting in grammar school when he accompanied his father to work on Saturdays, helping with material stocking and conduit threading. During high school summers, he continued to gain experience by stocking job boxes and making material deliveries.

In 1979, Vince embarked on a formal apprenticeship at Kelso-Burnett, marking the start of his lifelong dedication to excellence. His career at Candor Electric began in 1985 when he joined the family business as a Foreman, eventually assuming roles such as Estimator, Project Manager, Superintendent and Vice President.

Beyond his professional achievements, Vince is deeply committed to community service. He is a proud member and former President of the Mokena Lions Club, reflecting his dedication to local impact. He also actively supports the Memory Rock committee, which raises funds for the Alzheimer’s Association, demonstrating his compassion for vital social causes. Vince is also an esteemed member of the Electrical Contractors Association of the City of Chicago, where he contributes to the Education and Research committee. His involvement in industry associations highlights his commitment to staying abreast of advancements and fostering collaboration within the field.

Robert has been with Candor Electric since 2005, serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the past 10 years. He brings a wealth of experience and strategic financial knowledge to the company's leadership team. With a commitment to fiscal responsibility and growth, Robert has played a pivotal role in shaping Candor Electric's financial strategies, ensuring stability and profitability in a dynamic industry landscape. Candor Electric has navigated significant expansions, financial challenges, and market fluctuations, emerging stronger and more resilient each time with Robert’s guidance. His strategic foresight and meticulous financial planning have enabled the company to seize opportunities for innovation and market leadership, while maintaining a disciplined approach to financial management.

Kenneth began his career as an Apprentice Electrician in 1995, embarking on a journey that led him through various roles in the electrical industry. Over six years, he developed and perfected his skills at Continental Electric. Later, he joined Candor Electric, where he worked on diverse electrical projects while completing his apprenticeship training at the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute. In 2001, Kenneth became a Foreman Electrician, excelling in installation, layout, blueprint reading, and problem-solving on significant projects for clients such as the Chicago Public Schools, Illinois Toll Authority, and Fantus Clinic (Cook County). His expertise expanded as he handled the complexities of motor controls, programmable logic controls, fiber optics, data cabling, and telephone systems. Recognized for his leadership, Kenneth was promoted to Superintendent in 2002, overseeing daily field operations, project scheduling, and managing human resources for union electricians. He played a pivotal role in establishing and enforcing field policy standards and ensuring their adherence.

In 2007, Kenneth advanced to Senior Estimator/Project Manager, handling sales, estimating, and project management for prestigious commercial clients like the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Chicago Public Schools, and Dollar General. His proficiency in managing large-scale projects and dedication to delivering high-quality results led to his appointment as Vice President of Estimating and Pre-Construction in 2019. In this role, Kenneth oversees all project executives, project managers, and estimators, ensuring the accuracy of estimates, efficient invoicing, and overall project excellence. Kenneth continues to exemplify leadership and expertise in the industry, leveraging his extensive experience to drive success in every project he undertakes.

Matt’s journey began in 2005 when he started as an apprentice. Over the years, he advanced through various roles: three years as a journeyman, followed by three years as a foreman, and seven years as a superintendent. Now, as VP of Operations, he oversees all aspects of Candor Electric’s daily operations. Matt is dedicated to fostering a safe and productive work environment while maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients and cultivating new ones. His goal is to ensure that our end-of-line products consistently meet our customers' requirements, reflecting his passion for every facet of this business.

Martin Rogers has over 35 years of experience in electrical project management and is a proud member of I.B.E.W. Throughout his career, Martin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in overseeing diverse projects across various sectors including industrial, commercial, medical facilities, education, food production, institutional, railway, and airport/airline infrastructure. From 2000 to 2006, he served as Project Manager and Estimator at Candor Electric, where he honed his skills in project estimation and management, laying a strong foundation for his subsequent leadership roles.  

After gaining valuable experience at Candor Electric, Martin returned to the company in 2020, now serving as a Project Executive. In this role, he excels in managing all project aspects from inception to completion. His responsibilities include overseeing safety protocols, project accounting, adherence to electrical code and specifications, and customer relations, among other key duties that contribute to his comprehensive role. Martin’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction underscores his reputation as a trusted leader in the electrical contracting industry.

Paulette, an accomplished guitarist embarked on her Electrical Industry career in Low Voltage in 1987 as an apprentice. Driven by a natural affinity for work, over the next 25 years, she honed her skills and expertise, achieving the status of IBEW Local #134 Journeyman. Her journey took her across both local and national landscapes within the industry. For the past 17 plus years, Paulette has been an integral part of Candor Electric, where she serves as a Senior Project Executive. Known for her dedication to staying ahead in the fast-paced Construction and Electrical Industry, Paulette continually expands her knowledge through formal training and hands-on experience. She exemplifies dedication, expertise, and a deep-seated passion for both her career and her artistic pursuits, making her a respected figure within industry and beyond.

Aleksandar, fluent in five languages, attended Electro-Technical Trade School in 2003 to kickstart his electrical career. With a strong foundation, Alek swiftly gained valuable experience before joining Candor Electric in 2017. Since then, he has progressed through the ranks and contributed to numerous successful bid projects. With over 10 years in the field as an electrician and more than 7 years as a seasoned electrical estimator and project manager, Alek brings a wealth of expertise to every endeavor.

James joined Candor in October of 2023, bringing valuable customer relation experience from Guaranteed Rate Field, where he previously worked. Currently serving as an Estimator, specializing in estimating projects valued at $500,000 or less and managing projects of approximately $100,000 or less. James plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects. His expertise and dedication contribute significantly to Candor's commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

In 2016 Nicole joined Candor Electric, as an Estimating and Project Management Assistant. With over two decades in construction management, Nicole ensures smooth project coordination from planning to final submissions. With a passion for precision and efficiency, Nicole plays a pivotal role in the coordination of projects. She oversees project planning and estimation, optimizing timelines, budgets, and resources with meticulous attention to detail. Nicole's leadership fosters innovation and drives continuous improvement, contributing to Candor Electric's success in managing complex projects across commercial, residential, industrial and institutional sectors.

Marizabel joined Candor Electric as a Brand Development Manager with a focus on enhancing their online presence. With a diverse career background, she thrives in environments that require efficiency and innovation. She brings valuable experience in digital marketing, aiming to elevate Candor's visibility, creativity and engagement strategies in today's dynamic market landscape. Marizabel's role at Candor extends beyond enhancing the company's online presence to include vital support in accounting and office management functions. Her efforts are crucial in maintaining streamlined operations and effectively managing financial and administrative processes, significantly strengthening Candor's overall organizational effectiveness.
